This great man looked around at the increasingly welfare-dependent society of 1980 america. Then he looked at what the gaming world was missing. Then he looked at society again. The lightbulb flickered on, and with a Mr. Wizard's World intro-esque 'Ah-HAH!', it came to him:

amid civil disturbance and street protests, bolivia has named a new president. the image originally chosen to accompany this story on the cnn.com main page:

it has since been changed, perhaps because many in this country would find it confusing.

the challenge is now to compose an optimal one- or two-liner on the theme of this image. (my candidate, based on five seconds of thought: "why the unrest? did somebody close a disco?")

Alright, I was stumbling about today and came across a page using SitePal. The creators of SitePal refer to it as a "virtual host" for your website (har!). In reality, an animated face reads your horrible copy to your visitors while they stare transfixed by its fully customizeable and twitching SVG visage.

A few months ago, a fine gentleman was stopped while crossing the border into the united states. Inventory: brass knuckles, a knife, a hatchet, and a home made sword as well as a still-bloody chainsaw.

The border folks don't have a crime lab though, so they couldn't be sure if it was really blood. So: head on through Mr. Chainsaw Murderer.
